We found that both Tom and Rebecca paid special attention to the details of our day. During our first meeting with them they listened to our musical preferences and our wants and desires for the party that a reception is supposed to be. We knew that we didn't want a dj that would be too over-the-top but rather relaxed and fit in with the formality and style that we had worked so hard to create. Tom spent time not only with us making certain that everything would be pronounced properly but he then told those being announced how we asked that they be presented and if they would be okay with that or if he should request something else from us. Tom was the only one able to come to our wedding but he was dressed appropriately, he was professional from head to toe. As minimalists, it was nice that Tom had actually made his own equipment and knew to bring how much was needed. Sometimes less is more, and in the digital age you don't need all of the large equipment, it was nice to see that Magical Sight and Sound is keeping with the times. Tom and Rebecca could not have been nicer people! We were very comfortable with them and they always made time for our questions or concerns along the way. That day, Tom was very good to us trying to take as much of the pressure off as possible and when we had that one friend who wouldn't stop requesting a song that wasn't on either of our lists he kindly walked up to me and asked for my preference and I am confident that he handled the requests as professionally as possible. The music in the library allows for a great mix of music for everyone, and with their experience Tom and Rebecca can help you when you can't seem to put together a mix for yourself. The package put together exactly what we needed without forcing us to buy things we didn't need or leave something out that we really wanted. Their prices are also great, especially for the quality of service. When we set up a budget and looked around there weren't many options and the other companies just did not compare! Although I wasn't there when Tom set up everything was ready when we did arrive and that is all that matters. But as far as other meetings and phone sessions, we were always late and they were right on time, ready and waiting. The sound quality was amazing, we had two spaces and the set up for the cocktail hour was wonderful, as we walked the room I never felt like there were dead spots but the music was just soft enough that it provided a comfortable and active atmosphere. As for the reception, music could be heard everywhere but the tables were not overwhelmed with sound and Tom took care that the music was softer during dinner and then livened up for the dancing sessions. Their website was what initially brought us to Magical Site and Sound, the front page and the music chosen just seemed our style! We knew it was going to be a good fit from the get-go!

Magical sight and sound was wonderful to work with. They were very professional before and during the event. My daughter worked directly with Magical Sight and Sound to choose the music that she wanted to have at her Sweet 16 party. The kids had a fantastic time dancing at the party and several parents and kids called me the day after the party to tell me how much fun the party was. Even though my party was rather small, Tom was an awsome DJ. He had all my songs down and played what I wanted and let people request what they wanted.
